RAY Cosmetics on the Move: Sharing Our Story in Dire Dawa and Jigjiga

What an incredible experience it was to take RAY Cosmetics on the road! Our team recently joined a group of amazing Ethiopian businesswomen and businessmen for a trade fair trip to Dire Dawa and Jigjiga, and it turned out to be one of the most inspiring adventures we’ve had so far. In Dire Dawa, we were greeted with such warmth and curiosity. People were genuinely excited to hear about how we transform fish waste into collagen-based beauty products, and even more excited to try them! The enthusiasm, support, and feedback we received reminded us why we do what we do: to bring sustainable, science-backed beauty to everyone. From there, we hit the road again, stopping in Harar for a lovely lunch (and a little sightseeing at Jegol, of course!) before heading on to Jigjiga. The energy in Jigjiga was just as amazing, full of friendly faces, thoughtful conversations, and a deep appreciation for local innovation. We came back home feeling inspired, encouraged, and even more determined to keep growing our impact.
