From our beginnings at Lake Tana, where the idea was born by our founders, we have grown with one clear vision in mind: that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places if you know where to look (“Raey” in Amharic), and then bring it to life. Our journey has combined chemistry, circular economy thinking and local empowerment: We extract collagen from fish skins and scales that would otherwise go to waste and pollute local waters. We then use this as the foundation for natural-based skin and hair care products, prioritizing affordability, quality, and sustainability.
